Atheists: Why does spelling and grammar seem to be so important to you?

It never ceases to amaze me that even if everything else fails in your arguments with people on here, that you stoop to insulting their grammar. It like atheism is a religion based only on the lesser important rules of the universe? I don't understand, please explain why someones spelling and grammar becomes so important to mention, especially when your attempts to insult people, otherwise, utterly fail. I'm not even really sure to believe that their spelling or grammar really even is all that important to you? Please explain why it is so important to you, or if not, why you act, like it is? Don't you know that studies have even shown that certain failings of grammar and spelling are actually signs of overall greater intelligence? Apparently, smart people don't want to be bothered with lesser important things like where to place a comma.
