Yasmin pill? period? need advise!?

I Started the Yasmin as advised on the first day of my period. Only i have been bleeding for 10days..is this normal? This has never happened to me before.. Anybody else had this? I have a pap smear on sunday as my last one was abnormal.. Wont be able to have it if this bleeding continues.. x
