If a guy says yes I want to meet..?

Hes saying yes definately want to meet but then when you make plans he has ceased answering phone calls. He gets texts, but hasn't written back. It sounds like he wants me to actually come to his hometown (he lives a while away) and call him WHEN I am near. This is just my intuition guessing that I am correct. Since he kept telling me he wanted to meet, and agreed to comeing back home with me.
